I have never been great at writing about myself, unless I am sharing a very embarrassing tale of my awkwardness or a story of heartbreak and could never see myself writing a memoir - I find five-hundred characters daunting enough.

I am a young(ish) writer balancing somewhere between a quarterlife and midlife crisis living my life near the beach. I love sharpies. I adore post-it notes and other colourful (and sticky) office supplies. I carry a bic black fine-point pen whereever I go, just in case I feel the need to scribble or doodle on napkins, walls, my clothing or skin.

I write some freelance articles for some local publications, even write for my own blog (I know, because I am that original) and am one of the head writers for a collaborative website, The Twenties Project

The dream?

Like any writer, I'm sure is to have a book published, contribute to the New York Times and be able to live comfortably doing what we love, writing. Or marry rich.

Whichever comes first.
